P.J.

P.J.. Few of you might not know what exactly a PJ is. Any guesses?. Nope, the letter "J" here does not stand for "jockey" like it does in V.J. or R.J..It's called "Poor Joke" or "pathetic Joke" and you have just been given a dose of it. Now, how is it different from a joke?. So let me tell you that cracking a joke is all about good content, timing and a sense of humor, but cracking...err..."producing" a P.J. is neither timing nor sense of humor. It is actually a result of a brilliant content, spontaneity, bad timing and a "nonsense" of humor.
A P.J. is a work of art and all one needs to have is that artist within, a little amount of courage and humility to accept its credit in public. Always remember that this world is cruel and those bas***ds would never appreciate your talent. They will criticize you to the core but you have to remember that art and artists are incomplete without criticism. After you produce a P.J. if somebody does not make you run for your life that does clearly mean the "artist" within you needs some more polish of talent.
If we go back into history of P.J.s, their roots are unknown, but some historians suggest that it came into picture in 2004-2005 at a place called vellore institute of technology, where some Electrical engineering aspirants started producing them in bulk.
Moreover, its good to see that a new music channel has well utilized this art as one of its frequent teasers and they are appreciated as well. The concept is completely based on reverse psychology as by declaring the joke as a P.J., they escape from the criticism and there is a fair chance of some of them being appreciated if they come good.
This article is a tribute to all those P.J. crackers (who were later known as "snakes") and their hard work, because of which "The Snakism" came into picture and later on it became a religion.

That was really a PJ. Some historians explain this as 'Puratan Joke' and argue to have it's roots in Vedic Era.

hmmm.. In the history part, I doubt if it was all EEE.. I think there were other parts of world too, where the PJ was coming up at the same time.. though EEE is supposed to have the highest number of snakes, i think others' contribution cannot be undermined...
